Facebook appears to be down as users are getting automatically logged out from their accounts on March 5, 2024. Several users reported getting logged out of their accounts. Along with Facebook, Instagram and Threads are also down. However, WhatsApp which is also owned by Meta is not down. Reportedly, the Meta sites and applications went down around 3.30pm on March 5, 2024.
Is my Facebook account being hacked?
Some users mentioned on other online forums thinking they were being hacked as they got logged out of Facebook automatically. But most likely, it is because of the Facebook outage.
Reporting sites such as downdetector.com have a huge spike indicating users reporting problems with Facebook.
